Project Overview

The Challenge:

Jordan Price law firm was relocating offices in Raleigh NC. They wanted to pick a partner that can provide a turn-key solution (Design/Installation) for All IT components for their new space. The firm was relocating from an office environment that consisted of many individual offices to a new Class A office that had an open office concept. The new space covers approximately 17,000 square feet of space with a mixture of modular furniture, private offices and multiple conference rooms.

The Solution:

Premiere Communications sales and engineering teams met with the client to understand their business needs and requirements. Premiere utilized the Design Development drawings that the architect was working on, to put together a completed design package for: structured cabling, audio visual, sound masking, and a CCTV solution. Proposals were submitted based on the design drawings and a contract was signed for Premiere to be the design/build partner for the project.

The Installation:

After Premiere was under contract a project handoff meeting was conducted internally with the design team and the operations team. The Premiere project managers took place in the OAC meetings and the weekly construction meetings. Our schedule was incorporated into the GCs schedule to allow smooth construction of the space. Premiere install a CommScope Cat6 solution for all business network drops, and a CommScope Cat6a solution for all wireless access points. There was a total of (7) meeting/conference rooms installed: (1) Large boardroom with dual displays with a Logitech solution for Microsoft Teams. Additionally, (6) Huddle spaces were installed using the same Logitech solution for consistent AV functionality for any room the law firm will use. Each conference room uses Barco Click Share for collaboration in each space. A Biamp sound masking system was installed in all open office spaces. A single CCTV camera was installed in the reception area.

The Result:

The complete scope of work was completed on time and in budget. Premiere was very grateful for the opportunity to work with Jordan Price and we look forward to them being a partner for years to come.
