Project Overview
The Challenge:
Customer is having poor cellular service/coverage connectivity throughout student and stuff buildings. They are concern this could lead to communication issues during times of emergency.
The Solutions:
Scan cellular signals throughout campus buildings, and identify coverage concerns to the customer and provide installation of Nextivity Passive DAS system to help eliminate cellular connectivity issues.

Significant improvements in (-dbm) cellular service in each building, with all ‘dead zone’ areas eliminated.
Summary:
Over the last 6 months Northern Virginia Community College and Instrata have work together to improve cellular communication across all of Norther Virginia Community College’s campuses. Identifying buildings with poor signals, Instrata has provided and installed Nextivity Passive DAS solutions to help eliminate cellular connectivity problems with the ultimate goal of ensuring students and staff are able to communicate successfully out of the buildings in an event of an emergency.
